Subject Description
The purpose of this course is to provide students with a practical working skills and knowledge of personal tax return preparation and research based on the current provisions of the Canadian Income Tax Act.
Learning Outcomes Expectation: Upon successful completion of these courses you will be able to:
1. Prepare and filing corporate income tax returns to CRA.
2. Know how to get corporate authorization and access online information.
3. Use Tax Software (i.e. TaxPrep T2) as a tool to prepare and communicate with corporate clients and Canada Revenue Agency
4. Familiar with accounting to taxation income adjustment.
5. Familiar with fixed assets treatment under accounting and taxation regulations.
6. Discuss and answer questions regarding the tax topics during the courses
